Mercury Retrograde: December 29 - January 18

In short…Mercury saved the best for last (nervous laugh). The final retrograde of the year is by far the most difficult of them all.
Mercury stations retrograde in conjunction with (on top of) the planet Pluto. This speaks to extreme transformation, specifically in the ways in which we communicate.
It could also mean secrets coming to light, as Pluto loves to uncover all things hidden and find the truth that's lurking beneath.
Mars is also retrograde (in Gemini, a sign ruled by Mercury) from October 30th-January 12th, so we’ll be celebrating its forward momentum midway through the Mercury Retrograde.
This points to the fact, though, that from about NYE through the first two weeks of 2023…things aren’t easy, and might even feel like they’ve come to a screeching halt.
Communication is likely to be more difficult than any other retrograde of the year, because of both Mars and Mercury retrograde at the same time.
By January 18th, though, both Mars and Mercury will be direct again, and we’ll all feel like we’re finally able to talk about moving FORWARD. Rather than kicking of New Year's Resolutions on the 1st of January...the stars seem to be suggesting that there's more digesting to do first.
Use the first few weeks of 2023 to continue processing everything that happened in 2022. Come the New Moon in Aquarius on January 21st- all the planets will be direct again- and so will we!
